This time next week I’ll be running the Phoenix Half Marathon! I’m excited and starting to get nervous/anxious. It’s looking to be cool and cloudy with a 30% chance of rain. A few days ago we had a 60% chance, so I’m hoping there’s just a threat of rain on race day.
I’m aiming for under 2:30 for this race. A PR would be sub 2:22. This training cycle I put in more speed work and longer training runs. I trust my training will get me through and I’m going to celebrate on race day. Now to figure out the important stuff, like my race day outfit!
