I participated in the FitApproach #1MillionMinutes of Sweat Pink this summer and despite the oppressive heat in the latter part of this summer, I was able to meet my goal of 2,700 minutes. The challenge ran from June 21st to August 21st and coincided perfectly with my Lifetime Tempe Triathlon training. While I slacked in posting my workout here on the blog, I did successfully complete *most* of my workouts.
During this challenge, I started leading/co-leading bike rides through my local MRTT chapters. What started off as a ride that I would do by myself or with one other buddy, has become a weekly 8-9 person ride! We have gals on tri bikes and gals on cruisers. It’s been awesome to see everyone get excited about being back on a bike or tackling a longer distance for the first time! I’m so proud of what we are accomplishing!

I also started incorporating yoga back into my life! Oh yoga, how I’ve missed you.
I’m proud to say that I completed roughly 2,600 minutes of swim, bike, run, and yoga during the challenge! And a couple of hours of dancing, yoga and active fun times with the kiddos!
