2018 Week 2

This week, I felt stronger on the run and tackled my longest ride to date!

I did my first official Burn Boot Camp workout in the new gym!

Tuesday:  MRTT 60 min run with strides

Thursday:  MRTT Interval running

Saturday:  Foundation Party with 8 miler

Coach Renee held this “Age Up” party to not only celebrate our accomplishments of 2017 but to honor our goals and dreams for 2018.  I absolutely love being part of the Foundation Family and I’m always inspired by my teammates.

This week I was asked to pace the upcoming She Power Half.  It’ll be my first pacing gig, and I’m excited to help the ladies in the 2:40 pace group reach their goal.  Saturday’s run was a big confidence booster for me.  I felt strong, challenged, but not too tired!

This was a big weekend as I was also working the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k booth for the Rock N Roll AZ Expo!  All the fun was had grabbing selfies and snagging the best deals on the Sweetest Race in Town.

Last but not least, I conquered my longest biking distance to date on the PMBC Casa Grande Metric Century Ride.  These biker chicks rock!
