Oh, how I love Katherine Center. My best friend sent Happiness for Beginners to me several years ago, and it’s been one of the best birthday gifts ever, it’s a book that touched my heart. The characters and the details are so rich, that it’s a book that I re-read every so often to recalibrate my emotions. It gets me in my feels every time!
I’ve since read all of her novels, and I was so excited to hear that a character from Happiness for Beginners was one of the main characters in What You Wish For. I was so excited about it, I started a Net Galley account this spring to get a preview before the release.

Here’s my first official review for NetGalley from July 23, 2020:
As a long time fan of Katherine Center’s work, I was looking forward to “What You Wish For.” This novel is both heart-wrenching and sweet. At times, I was frustrated with the characters but I loved the opportunity to revisit beloved characters from her previous novel “Happiness for Beginners.” This story was also a bright spot in the current pandemic environment. This joyful attack on life was just what I needed.
Of course, I had to add it to my collection! Choose joy!
I was given a chance to read What You Wish For via NetGalley.
