I loved this teen rom com told from the guy’s perspective. I loved the David Yoon’s Frankly in Love, and his latest novel, Super Fake Love Song did not disappoint. Yoon, once again, captured the nuances of growing up Asian American, teen/young adult/sibling/parent dynamics, and the roller coaster of emotions when it comes to first love. The story was seemlessly interwoven with references to music, D&D, and cosplay. This was a fun escape!

I almost forgot!! Make sure you check out the hard copy, the gamer in me loved the detail in these illustrations!!
