From 2019: Today's @shepowerhalf was such a great morning filled with all of my favorites: #mrtt #skirtsisters #burnsisters #instafriends I love the atmosphere of this race. I met some amazing women today, Laura from OH (a 50 states finisher), Melissa from HI (completed her 3rd state on her quest to 50!), a gal from TX who ran the 3M half last week and a couple of fun groups from SoCal and TN. This was my second time pacing the race, and the plan was to start a little slower and have a fast finish. Approaching the finish, I made sure to yell "2:40 is coming in hot!" Mission accomplished!! I was thankful for all the friends and #burnsouthchandler sisters cheering along the course!
